How does the Class 5 Driving Course work?
Lasting a minimum of 13 months, the driving course consists of:
- 12 sessions x 2h Distance learning theory course
- Learner's permit after 5 weeks
- 15 sessions x 1h Practical course
Registration fees
Driving course fees are payable in 6 instalments.
Total
- 12 theory modules of 2 hours each
- 15 1-hour road trips
- Payable in 6 instalments
Government rate. Taxes and course materials extra.
After that? All you have to do is pass the SAAQ theory and road tests, and you're ready to drive!
Upon successful completion, you’ll receive your probationary driver’s license. 24 months later, you’ll have your permanent Class 5 driving license.
