Condition for obtaining a Class 2 license:

You must have held a valid Class 5 driver's licence for at least 2 years.

You must have a good driving record.

You must pass a theoretical exam and 2 practical exams of the SAAQ.

You must have less than 4 demerit points on your file.

Your driver's licence must not have been suspended or revoked in the last 2 years as a result of an accumulation of demerit points or a Criminal Code offence committed while driving a vehicle.
